- PEST analysis refers to the analysis of the macro environment. P is the politics, E is the economy, S is the society and T is the technology. IMC will analyze the background that an enterprise group by the way of analyzing these 4 factors usually.
1.The political environment
The politics environment mainly includes political system, political situation, the government's attitude. The legal environment includes law , regulation that the government makes mainly.
2.The economic environment
The strategic key elements of the economic environment: GDP, interest rate level, financial monetary policy, the inflation , rate of unemployment level, resident budget income level, exchange rate , energy and supply cost , market mechanism , market demand etc. .
3.Social cultural environment
The most influential factors are population environment and culture background, mainly including people's scale , age composition , population distribution , ethnic structure and income are distributed ,etc.
4.The technology
The technology environment not merely includes inventing, but also includes new technology, new crafts , new material and development trend related to enterprise's market and use the background .
